Continuing to expand local water supply projects — including innovative stormwater capture and reuse initiatives — to reduce reliance on imported water and enhance drought resilience.

Rehabilitate Infrastructure and Operational Excellence

Rehabilitate the district's aging infrastructure and ensure smart, cost-effective investments in treatment facilities, storage, and system upgrades that maintain high water quality and service reliability.

Strengthen Emergency Preparedness and Storage

Supporting expanded drinking water storage and emergency reserves to protect our community during droughts, wildfires, and other challenges.

Promote Transparency and Community Engagement

Helped establish relationships and communications to improve outreach, clearly explain rate decisions and projects, and ensure that partners and rate payers have a voice in District decisions.

Champion Fiscal Responsibility and Regional Collaboration

Drawing on my experience with regional agencies to secure funding, build partnerships, and keep water and sewer services affordable while delivering long-term value for ratepayers across all of SMWD's service area.
